Spooky Fuzz and Ghost Detector now Glows in the Dark!

Boffin FX Spooky Fuzz and Ghost Detector is a versatile fuzz that can achieve classic fuzz tones to heavy fuzz. Spooky Fuzz is a silicon transistor fuzz guitar effects pedal based on a classic two transistor fuzz circuit. Discover a ghoulish fuzz made by the silicon transistors. The fuzz sounds are a cross between a Fuzz Face, Big Muff, Distortion Plus and Noise! The Spooky Fuzz is now capable of making glitchy sounds with the updated circuitry.

The Spooky Fuzz has the standard level control called “Scream” and fuzz control called “Fear.”

New for 2022 are the “Shock” and “Bias” controls.

The “Shock” adjusts the voltage so the pedal can run at a full 9V or as low as 4.5V. Lowering the voltage give a glitchy sound to the fuzz.

The “Bias” control adjusts the voltage bias to the fuzz transistor. This will change the amplitude of the fuzz giving different sounds from clear, fuzzy, noisy, or glitchy. Depending on the settings of the other controls.

Ghost Detector

The Spooky Fuzz features an EMF ghost detector that is turned on whenever the pedal is plugged in or using a 9V battery. A detachable telescoping antenna is included for the ghost detector.

How Does the Ghost Detector Work?

The Ghost Detector works by detecting in the surrounding area. The EMF antenna detects any EMF fluctuations caused by ghosts. The then measures the fluctuations and will turn on the light when the ghost is detected. If there any fluctuations in the surrounding electromagnetic field, the detector LED will go on. If the light goes on, then RUN!
